How to care for tweed or jacquard garments?

However, their unique construction requires specific care to maintain shape and texture over time.

Ironing and steaming :

It is advisable to ask the professional to steam the item only, and/or use a damp cloth if ironing is necessary on certain parts (such as collars or button plackets). To guarantee volume, steaming is essential, as ironing can cause shine.
