How to wash and care for cotton?

Cotton is one of the most widely used natural fibres in the textile industry, valued for its softness, breathability and everyday comfort.
At SANDRO, we increasingly prioritise organic cotton – certified to GOTS or OCS standards – or recycled cotton, preserving the fibre's natural qualities while limiting production impact.

Cotton is a natural, supple, soft and lightweight fibre, whose colour vibrancy may require specific care.

Dry cleaning recommended:

For some of our garments in bright or intense colours, we recommend dry cleaning to maintain their vibrancy over time.

Washing:

Machine wash at 30°, preferably inside out and with similar colours. Use detergent without bleaching agents or optical brighteners for coloured garments.

Drying:

Opt for air drying, away from direct sunlight.

Ironing and steaming:

They are recommended to restore suppleness and softness.
We advise ironing and steaming inside out to avoid leaving marks.
